CCTV as a management tool

While in most circumstances CCTV is used purely for security, protecting your business against fraudulent claims & identifying fraud, It can also be used to better manage a facility. We have recently installed a high definition CCTV system for Beaverstown Golf Club. Part of the brief was to give the club pro a view of the 1st and 10th tee boxes. This function was drawn into the design. While it was easy to capture the first tee at the club house, the tenth proved more tricky as it was over 200 metres from the main recorder location. We installed a point to point IP radio to the caddy shacks that backed onto the tenth tee, where we then secure power to capture this great image.

The camera is a two megapixel H5M from Avigilon featuring advanced ai unusual motion detection. The camera allows traffic, illegal golf activity and through flow to be monitored from the clubhouse.
