Our sustainability plan revolves around a couple of measures
Comprehensive Forest Creation
We are proud members of the Cloudforests CoolPartner community being the founding CoolPartner 001. We have been members since 2020. Cloudforest is creating a network of forests along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way for the planet, nature and people. On average our membership of the CoolPartner Community reduces our carbon footprint by an estimated ten tonnes per annum.
Renewable energy at Usee HQ
Our daytime energy needs at Usee HQ are powered by a VoltPunks.com solar array with battery storage. We are currently generating over 6500 units of green electricity every year. This alone is reducing our carbon footprint by over two tonnes per annum. We have also implemented a low energy review of our business premises, increased insulation levels and installed LED lighting throughout.
Electric vehicles
In 2021 we will started replacing our current fleet with electric vehicles from Tesla, Toyota and VW. All admin staff currently employed by the business use electric vehicles that can be conveniently charged at our Business HQ.
